About Us

Purpose

Our main objective is to advance the quality of life and safety in our neighborhood by inspiring neighbors to join the conversation to discuss our mutual concerns, work together as a team to gain access to the City of Boston services, encourage youth to get involved in civic work, and to make a significant difference in the Woodrow Avenue area and surrounding communities. We are committed to serving the neighborhood by inspiring people to let their voices be heard.

We serve our neighbors and members by providing access to educational opportunities and resources through members of local organizations, public safety officials, and representatives from governmental entities and neighboring community groups. WANA is committed to working with other civic associations in Boston in order to build a stronger bond throughout the community.
